ON MATTH.23:34-35
(Preached first in 2002 in Locodjro, Abidjan – Ivory Coast. see tape No. 11 )
Now brothers, the Spirit expressly warns that serpents ... Have you ever heard a hissing of serpent? When one day Jesus Christ stood there before the ancestors of those serpents ... they said to Jesus: "Why do you speak to us in parables?" Jesus said: "That all that is written concerning me in the law of Moses and prophets and psalms must be fulfilled." You see? It is in Luke 24:44. And Psalm 78:2 says: "I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter riddles from of old ...". They said to Jesus: "But the psalms, it is nothing other than songs, you cannot base your judgments on songs for ...". It is a hissing of serpent! But for us, the Psalms, visions, parables of Jesus and even the lamentations of Jeremiah are the Word of God as any other verse in the Bible. But Matth.13:34-35 says that Ps.78:2 is a prophecy concerning Jesus. And the great-grand-sons of those serpents will stand before you to say: "But Matth.25: 6, is nothing other than a mere parable!". It is a hissing of serpent! For them, Jesus should say: "Thus saith the Lord, shall the kingdom of heavens be made like ...". But in reality, matth.25:6 is a mystery, a parable for them but a prophecy for us. Jesus said: "shall the kingdom of heavens be made ..." You see? It is the future tense. When Jesus was speaking, the Church was not even engaged to Him because it is Paul who did it. Paul says in 2 Cor.11:2: "... for I have espoused you unto one man, to present [you] a chaste virgin to Christ". You see? It is because of them that Jesus spoke under the form of parables according to Matth.13:10 so that the posterity of Cain may not understand and that their seed may be revealed again as in the time of Jesus. We know for example that the parable of Matth.13:24-30 is a prophetic mystery that Jesus interpreted from the verse 36 to 43 even saying that the harvest was the end of times, to say that it is a prophecy that will have its fulfillment at the end of times while it is a mere parable according to you ... Thus brothers, according to Matth.16:5, be on guard against the venom and hissings of the serpent's seed. Jesus did not identify them as any other living being except the snake because that's what they are and their hissings sound again. You see? The pharisees are dead but their spirits are there next to what Jesus is doing. Amen! Even if Jesus said in Matth.25:1: "I think the kingdom of heavens shall be like ..." I would not find any difference. Even the thought of Jesus is the Word! And I would like to say this morning that the parables are a treasure of the oratory heritage of black Africa and cannot say: "It's a mere parable" but an African who missed his African base. A might-have-been! A bastard child, who is not African but by the skin color. I was born and I grew up in village and I have never seen a wise man or an elder talk without parable. You see? The wise will understand but the wicked and the fool will not understand. 12:10 Daniel said it.
Well, let’s take our Bibles in the book of Matth.23:34-35 and then I will read Job 33:23-24 which I will broach the next time. Let’s read in Matth.23: "Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and [some] of them ye will kill and crucify, and [some] of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and will persecute from city to city; so that all righteous blood shed upon the earth should come upon you, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar." Let’s read also Job 33:23-24: "If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his duty; Then he will be gracious unto him, and say, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom." Amen! Meditate on this passage from Job 33, I shall come back to that as I come back today on Matth.23.
I have read in the book of Saint Matthew but certainly the first man I want to mention here is Enoch. Enoch lived before the flood. The Bible says in Jude verse 14 that he was the seventh. It’s first of all Adam in Gen.5, in verse 1, verse 3 we have Seth, verse 4 we have Enosh, the fourth is Kenan in verse 5, the fifth is Mahalaleel in verse 12, the sixth is Jared in verse 15 then the seventh is Enoch. We cannot speak of the holy servants of God without speaking of Enoch. Gen.5:24 says: "And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him". This is the first rapture that the Bible mentions.
And this prophet prophesied that one day God would destroy the earth by water. You say: "Brother Philip, did Enoch say that?" Yes, God revealed it to the world through Enoch. Enoch was the light of the world and you cannot be saved or be in the Will of God but by Enoch. Who was then this Enoch? It was the first man who walked with the Spirit and power of Elijah. He rejected all the churches, systems and organisations of his time to stay with the revelation of God. He did not walk on the teaching of a church but with God. This is where God chose Elijah. You see? It’s this Enoch who clad with animal skins and that we should recognize through Elijah. This man who ascended to heaven in Gen.5, it is Enoch. This man who ascended to heaven in 2 Kings 2, it is Enoch. And this man who will ascend to heaven in Rev.11, it is Enoch. When Enoch was leaving the earth, it’s the Light that was leaving the earth because the churches did not want it, the world did not want it.... The day they removed Jesus from earth to perch him on a wood, darkness covered the earth because He was the Light of the world.
And when the time of the fulfillment of this prophecy came, the world knew that God was to destroy the earth by water. And all the religious systems agreed to work in this way according to their understanding of the prophecy. And they expected a rapture as God did it with Enoch of whom all were claiming to be followers after his rapture. When the time of the fulfillment of that prophecy came, the earth had reached seven to eight billion people. There were a few more churches than now. Every cinema had become a church and "the men of God", There were more powerful than Osborn, Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke and Yonggi Cho. Famous pastoral schools such as the "Lemech Theological Institute", of the name of Lemech, grand-son of Cain and ancestor of theologians, were strewed over the world.
At the time of Noah, the son of Cain could cheerfully say: "The gospel has now reached the ends of the earth and by the grace of God, love, tolerance and brotherhood prevail among us! All the barriers have been broken. And even by the grace of God, a methodist can go and have the holy communion among baptists". You say, Brother Philip, you mean that the time will come when this happens? Yes brothers, they will have the holy communion among each other! And that's what they were doing and just in that time, unfortunately for them, as in a nightmare, God aroused Noah. That will happen.
Noah had not done theology, he had not a good vocabulary, he was not educated as the pastors of his time. Oh, I even did not know that I would be sent to school. When I was little, an elderly and rich couple who was barren wanted to adopt me so as to inherit their great wealth. I might be five years old and I saw that they had regular interviews with my parents. Finally, I did not go. But if I left, I would perhaps not be sent to school. The grace of God had prevailed on the poverty of my parents. And by that grace, I can read and write. You see? Today it is the intellect and the wealth which make "the man of God" and they say: "gold and silver belong to God" but we know that Elijah dressed himself in animals skins and John the Baptist, the one of whom Jesus Himself said he was the greatest of all those who were born of woman, dressed himself in animals skins. You see? So far, I have no car! I have no jacket! I have no armchair! But like Noah, Elijah and John, I also have something they don’t have: the Light of day. They are already in their reign but our reign is coming. You see? Noah, Elijah, John and the others, the true men of God were lonely like Enoch and they condemned everything the others did. Noah had no degree of theology but he condemned even those who followed the Message of Enoch that himself Noah had first believed and approved. And a fight started, the fight of the Truth against the truths that ended with the flood. You see? What put Noah in conflict with his generation was that he judged, condemned and called them publicly sorcerers instead of being silent and work calmly in his corner. For them, Noah denigrated honest servants of God and the height was that he dared to say that no one could be saved but by his Message. He preached that to be saved from the flood, one must necessarily believe what he was saying and come into the ark. He preached that no one could be in the will of God but by his Message. People told him in mockery "Noah, do you mean that Adam and Enoch, our fathers who did not believe in you will go to hell?"You see? According to their understanding, what Noah was saying was so illogical that they were not frightened. But Noah said: "Adam and Enoch will be judged with their generations but as far as this generation is concerned, it will be judged in relation with my Message and if you are the seed of Adam and Enoch, you will say amen to every word and you will come in the ark." And they began to laugh so much that Noah and his little house were ashamed. Yet in those days, there was no Bible and God spoke to the chosen race as Adam in Eden. And Noah could one day see in spirit: an eagle that was flying in mid heaven. The eagle was looking on an island and here was a multitude of chickens that no one could count and their number was like the stars of the sky and the eagle cried to chickens saying: "Another 40 days and the fish of seas will swim over this island! Fly and come with me into the mountains!" And the chickens replied together: "We refuse, it is a lie!". And while Noah looked, here, the water level rose and the chickens were screaming, hopping. And soon, the whole island, the chickens and trees descended in the depths of waters. And the vision departed from his spirit and Noah said in himself: "But if those chickens had believed, how could they fly?". God made Noah see that it is not because these pastors do not want to believe but in themselves, there is nothing that can believe or that ...You see? Even if they wanted to believe, they could not. It's as if you enter a forest and that you look for a tree that can bleed blood. And it's as if someone asked you to give what you do not have. It's like asking an Ephraimite to say "Shibboleth". [Ed: The congregation says "Amen!"]. You see? And when Noah entered the ark, God left a little time pass then, God Himself closed the door of the ark. You see? From the day when a messenger goes Home, the way of heaven begins to shrink as a pyramid until there is no exit then God raises another generation of people and then sends another messenger. You see?
Then, after Noah, there was a man and his name was Moses. He owed his fame to the grace of God alone. In the divine sovereignty, on the face of the earth, God threw a favorable eye on him. He had not the wisdom, intelligence and reputation of Korah and Dathan, but he was the mouth of God. If Moses said to go left, no matter how many signs and wonders Korah and Dathan and Abiram will perform to say you must go right, you were required to go left with Moses. Even if all the people put themselves on their side, put yourselves on the side of Moses. And in Nbres 16, hundreds of people, all those who do not know that on the face of the earth God speaks through one man were swallowed. You see? Contrarily to Jews, people of nations do not have any prophetic culture that is why they argue with the prophet. They have always had as guide kings, emperors, men who have led them by their wisdom. And this is the type of the pastor. You see? The reason why Jews importuned Jesus, it’s because they know that rejecting a prophet it is to reject God. But nations do not even know what we call a prophet and how will they worry? A Jew knows that the best priest [pastor] cannot but maintain the faith of the people but only the prophet knows God's will ...
Well,... there were men, men, ... and there was Jeremiah. But before Jeremiah, there was Urijah. In his childhood and youth, when Urijah used to go in synagogues, his eyes saw only illustrious priests, fearing God ... but when the one he believed to be the God whom these priests and prophets served called him a battle started. The struggle of the Truth against error started in order to end with his death. Mercy! What did Urijah do? Let's read Jeremiah 26:15-23 "[and Jeremiah told them]: "only know for certain that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof; for of a truth Jehovah hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears. And the princes and all the people said unto the priests and to the prophets, This man is not worthy to die; for he hath spoken to us in the name of Jehovah our God."
And there rose up certain of the elders of the land and spoke to all the congregation of the people, saying, Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? And we should be doing a great evil against our souls. There was also a man that prophesied in the name of Jehovah, Urijah the son of Shemaiah of Kirjath-jearim: and he prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah; and Jehoiakim the king, and all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, and the king sought to put him to death; but Urijah heard it, and he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt. And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and men with him, into Egypt; and they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him to Jehoiakim the king; and he slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the children of the people." You see? When he fled, the unbelievers must have said: "haven’t you said it’s God who sent you, why do you flee to go in Egypt?" And the Bible says that for Jeremiah, it is now the princes and the people who rise to say to the priests and the prophets not to kill Jeremiah. You see? There are a multitude of prophets and priests on one side but on the other side, there is Jeremiah who attack them ... The priests, who have the scrolls of Moses in hands and the prophets, those who pretend that God speaks to them, want to kill Jeremiah. You see that it is not the same God of Jeremiah who leads them and who speaks to these prophets? Now, see this! The people began to make remarks: Noah was alone against all and he was right. Micah, the Morasthite was alone against all and he was right when it was too late. They also remembered that Urijah, son of Shemaiah was alone against all and he was right when it was too late. Elijah was alone against all and he was right. Amos was alone against all and he was right. You see? The people began to pay attention! You see? Isaiah was alone against all and he was right. The people said to the priests and the prophets: No! We must see for certain this time! There always is a man who is opposed to us all and after his death we see that he was right, this time, we must see for certain! [ Ed: The congregation says, Amen!].
Let’s take Jeremiah chapter 26:7-8. Let’s read that: "And the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of Jehovah. And it came to pass when Jeremiah had ended speaking all that Jehovah had commanded [him] to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying, Thou shalt certainly die." You see again? When we see from history that the prophet Isaiah was sawed into pieces, we understand that the power to not retreat in the face of the seed of Cain is to God alone. When Jeremiah arrived at the point of weeping as that is reported in Jer.20:14-18, when the priest Pashkhur slap him in the face and imprisoned him, when in Jer.38:7, these same pastors and prophets made Jeremiah descend in a pit, how will him that God has not predestined for such a mission stand? How can churches bless you? You see?
After that, the prophet Elijah. And the same battle began, the fight against the spirit of error which ended with the rapture of Elijah. He was alone against the priests, the prophets and the people in his time. You will see that in 1 Kings 18, there was no other prophet on his sides and in 1 Kings 19:10, he said: "And he said, I have been very jealous for Jehovah the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I am left, I alone, and they seek my life, to take it away." But for them, they are rebellious and impolite prophets like Elijah who they killed by according to what Moses said to them. They had nothing to feel guilty about.
After Elijah, I would like to talk about Micah son Jimla in 1 Kings 22. In that time, there were four hundred powerful prophets in Israel. Prophets of the edge of Billy Graham, Frank Ewald, Ushe Praise, Osborn and Yonggi Cho. In no time they were gathered. They knew one another, they saw each other and organised conventions together. They were brothers in christ despite their different doctrines. But Micah was alone and when he came, he was alone. And in 1 Kings 22:24, Micah said to Ahab "And now, behold, Jehovah has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and Jehovah has spoken evil concerning thee". And Zedekiah, one of the prophets, approached and struck Micah on the cheek and said: "Where now went the Spirit of Jehovah from me to speak to thee?"And we know that Micah went to jail for that and this fight had to end by his death.
Then God sent Amos, let’s read that in Amos 7:10: "Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words" . The verse 11 says: "And Amaziah said unto Amos, [Thou] seer, go, flee away into the land of Judah, and eat bread there, and prophesy there. But prophesy not again any more at Bethel; for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is the house of the kingdom. And Amos answered and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was a herdman, and a gatherer of sycamore fruit. And Jehovah took me as I followed the flock, and Jehovah said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel". You see? I was neither a prophet nor a prophet's son, I knew nothing of God but on April 24, 1993, I have been called and commissioned to fulfill a mission according to Matth.25:6 and Rev.12:14. You see? Elisha could say: I was neither a prophet nor a prophet's son but I was ploughing my field and the fate of Jehovah fell upon me. The most spiritual man, the high priest of Bethel is chasing the prophet Amos with the consent of the people and king. Mercy! Look at what he says and you will see that this is what we are going through. He said: "... The land is not able to bear all his words" ...
What rejoices us is that what comes from God ultimately triumphs and the midnight Cry will triumph. If you cannot stop an earthquake then you cannot stop this prophetic Message come to reach the world ...
Then God sent John the Baptist. His father was priest but he went into the desert to receive nothing from him. It is God who sent him, he had nothing to receive from man. You see? What does the messenger of the hour do? He attacks the whole of the priesthood. But since God does not arouse two messengers at a time, John the Baptist had to leave the stage to make way for the Lord Jesus. And that's what happened. Then the Lord began to feed Israel with a rod of iron. But the priests and the pharisees, sadducees, essenes saw things differently. For them, if Jesus Christ thinks that they are wrong, he must build his synagogue to him and prophesy there to those who want to listen to him and in heaven and we'll see who did well or wrong. But Jesus did not see things that way. For him, He was the light of the world and the depositary of the truth and he was determined to go to the very end in a fight of which we know the end that is to say the death of the messenger. Then finally, he found himself alone against all. Alone against the whole people. Alone against Herod. Alone against Pilate. And John 9:22 says: "... the Jews had already agreed that if any one confessed him [to be the] Christ, he should be excommunicated from the synagogue." You see? These same sons of the devil are there. They say nothing because they say to themselves that talking about the midnight Cry, they might make the propaganda of it and make the thing famous. But they will eventually warn people against this green book. Behold, you are already warned. Some will read it to extract knowledge while others will not speak of it as a precautionary measure because they think that something can come from God. But know that all those are children of the devil. When Jesus was preaching, they were saying in their synagogue ... Brothers, they invited the greatest rabbi, greatest theologian before Jehovah and that day, in his long satiny gown, with his long beard, after having read in the scroll of Moses, he said: "This Jesus is a seducer because the Scriptures say the Messiah shall be the shepherd of Israel, the high priest Melchizedek yet the priests must be of the tribe of Levi but this Jesus is of the tribe of Judah which does not tally with what Moses told us. His disciples eat without washing their hands, he does not respect the Sabbath. And he says nothing good if it is not to exploit the flaws and weaknesses of the churches to seduce the weak but God be blessed we are versed in the scriptures! Hallelujah! ... [Amen!] He wants to lead everyone to him alone yet what God requires to us it’s to observe the law of Moses!!! And that, we can do it from anywhere, from any synagogue, whether pharisee, sadducee, essene, hellenist or herodian. The differences in doctrines are nothing! What matters, it is Jesus, it is to live well! It's like black, yellow and white races. In heaven, we will have one race! We are the vegetable garden of God composed of different flowers!!! Alleluia! ... We're of Moses! Only Moses! Moses said it all! Moses revealed everything! .... Brothers, after an hour of preaching, it was the apotheosis. They blessed God that they did not follow Jesus Christ and prayed that God delivers those who, according to them, have been seduced by Jesus Christ. And that’s what they will do again today. But I also reply to say that you are the vegetable garden of Ahab and it’s for that garden that you have killed Naboth, the prophets and Jesus and you are trying to crucify this Message. It is a garden of blood and malediction! It’s for that garden that the branhamists have hybridized the Message of William Branham.
You see? In the message of Satan are many demons of which the last is: "Moses revealed everything!" It is an old demon! When Paul was imposing himself as prophet, that old demon said: "Jesus has revealed everything!" When William Branham was preaching that same demon said: "The Bible revealed everything!" And when the midnight Cry sounds, that same old demon will say by the serpent's seed: "Branham revealed everything!". They are obliged to say that because their ancestors said that. That is in their blood. You see? I’m talking of the blood of the snake that crawls in the bush! In the same way that there are different blood groups and different rhesus, it’s this way that there is a difference of affinity between those who cannot believe this Message and us. Yet in reality, had Moses not revealed everything? Yes! But God sent prophets ... You see? Had Paul not revealed everything up to how the rapture would take place according to 1 Thess.4:16-18? And did Paul not tell people to be consoled by that until the Lord comes? How does it come therefore that God sent some Wesley, Luther and Branham and how does it come that God can no longer send messenger? You see?
But something mysterious, the Message of Jesus was gaining momentum and his enemies seeing their interests threatened, held counsel. You see? But what he said was true on the only foundation of the prophetic revelation upon which the Salvation had already been built not since Matth.16:18 but since before the founding of the world. Yet, even if what Jesus was saying did not tally with what Moses said, we must believe! Even if the disciples do not wash their hands before eating, we must believe! Even if Jesus does not respect the Sabbath, we must simply believe! ...
And the Bible tells us that they are the priests who persuaded the people to choose Barabbas! Let’s read Matth.27:20: "But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds that they should beg for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus." You see? Exactly like in the days of all the prophets. And they are pastors and prophets who will warn people against this green book. You see? Jesus Christ predicted in Matth.23:34-35 that he will send prophets again with the truth on the earth and that the religious world will reject them and persecute them. To build monuments to them after their death. Let us take Matth.23 again now to end: "Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and [some] of them ye will kill and crucify, and [some] of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and will persecute from city to city; so that all righteous blood shed upon the earth should come upon you, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar."
Well, what does the Lord say? I have sent prophets? No! But: I send unto you in the future, prophets! You've killed? No! But ... " Ye will kill and crucify, and [some] of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and will persecute from city to city." Jesus Christ will send prophets on the earth, prophets like those of the Old Testament. What does prophet mean? From Hebrew origin, the word Nabia means "spokesman". The plural is Nebiim that is to say: "spokesmen". Not unction-bearer or miracles-bearer but spokesman! A prophet it is first the bearer of a message from God for the humanity. And when God sends a prophet-messenger, it means that there is no more truth on the earth. And he speaks, judges and condemns for God, the sole authority which belongs to God alone. There is no Truth or salvation but by him. No one can serve God but by him. And God confirms his Message by signs and wonders. And if he is true, the religious world will reject him. And he is alone against all. Why? Because he represents a threat to the interest and authority of many people. No one can believe in him without losing at least for a time what he was. You see brother Oscar who is sitting there, three months ago, he was pastor associate in a church. Brother Akobé and many others more. From pastors they were, they will become mere faithful? It is not easy but what is impossible to the sons of the devil is possible to the sons of God. You see? How will those pastors and prophets with their families, fed and housed by their churches do? You see?
If a man pretends to be prophet and that he goes and joins other prophets for seminars, conventions or conferences, run away, it's a wolf! Now, listen to this: A sheep going far away from her pen, left instructions to her young saying: "Close the door and lie down and do not open it until I am back!". They said: "Mom, we have understood but bring us a lot of herbs when you are back!" ... She lovingly sniffed them and walked away. Immediately, a wolf that was on the look-out approached and said: "Oh are you already sleeping?" Open the door I'm a lamb like you, I come on behalf of your mother for the herbs you asked for. Open the door! ". The lambs looked at each other and said: "Are you one of us?" The wolf replied: "I'm one of you, open and you will see my white wool and ..." Then one of the lambs had the wisdom to look under the door and what did he see? Not hooves but wolf paws with claws that appeared slightly under a large skin of sheep. And he cried: "It's a wolf, look at his paws under the door!" And the wolf feeling unveiled, ran away. You see? It is true that we need herbs that is to say miracles and Word but let’s know that we will sicken again and even we will die. Let us not bind our souls with miracles of seduction. Jesus wants a wise church according to Matth.25 for He Himself is the consumption of wisdom. According to what we have learnt from Noah, Jeremiah, Elijah and all true prophets of God, as soon as a prophet approaches and says that he attended a theological training it’s a wolf! As soon as a prophet approaches not with a Message which is the Light for his generation but with a church, a ministry, a mission or words of knowledge it’s a wolf! He must come with a Message that will open the eyes of the elect. The Word of God does not come but to the prophet and the prophet comes toward the people with the Word because in the beginning was the Word and if we are pure children of God, pure products of the Word, we will believe while everybody rejects that. The Church is by definition the whole of all those who got out of the churches to gather around the Message of their time. You see? As soon as a prophet appears and begins to fraternize with another prophet while they founded different churches, missions or ministries, they are wolves and don’t miss to tell them that it is the spirit of python that leads them. As soon as a man approached and says that he is prophet, ask him his call, his commission and where did God say in the Bible that someone would come and fulfill what he is doing. For example: Isaiah 40:3 announced that John the Baptist would come and John the Baptist himself said that in Matth.3:1-3. Isaiah 61 had announced Jesus and Jesus said that in Luke ... how many? [A brother says: Luke 4:16-21]. Luke 4 ... Thanks brother! And Isaiah 49:6 was talking of Paul saying: "I have even given thee for a light of the nations, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth" and Paul said that in Acts 13:47 ...
And to end, I would like to say this: And everybody recognizes including Ewald Frank that we are at midnight and William Branham at the end of his ministry said that we were minutes till midnight. And how forty years after William Branham, would we not be at midnight? You see? And on the basis of Daniel 12, you do not need Matth.25:6 to believe. On the only basis of Rev.12:14, you do not need Matth.25:6 to believe that there must be a midnight Cry. You see? In the evening time, Satan said that the Pillar of cloud was a mere cloud of Tucson and if at midnight, he says to you that Matth.25:6 is a mere parable, show him that. Show him Joshua 6, show him 1 Kings 19, show him Esther! Show him Isaiah 30. Show him the whole Bible! [The congregation says, Amen!].
Now, notice that in a vision, William Branham was gathered with his own. What must happen at his death, God permitted him to see that. But notice that William Branham did not see Moses, he neither saw Jeremiah, nor Paul, nor Luther, nor Wesley. You see? Every messenger was with his group. When the messenger goes in, God closes the door because the time of grace for the generation decreases and ends and darkness sets in again. You see? When Noah went into the ark, an extension of grace was granted for seven days! But this is not always obvious for, when Moses joined his group, the door was closed. When Moses went in after his ministry, the door was closed on Moses and his group. From Joshua, no one could get in with Moses. This is a particular revelation. All those who came after that, Moses told them to go towards him who sold the oil after him that is to say, Joshua. God has always had a man on earth in whom we must believe according to John 6:28. The work and the will of God, it is to believe in him whom He has sent.
They told William Branham there: "Paul is with his group! When you finish your ministry, you will be gathered with us and you will be judged after what you preached .... And when Paul comes, he will not say what he did when he was under the law but everything will start for him on the day when that light shone on the road to Damascus and that that voice spoke to him. If God did not recognize Paul everything was over for all those who followed Paul. When Moses will move forward to the bar of the judgment of the white throne, he will say: "Lord, one day while we were still in Egypt, an angel called me from a burning thorn-bush and commissioned me ..."And all will approach: Martin Luther,… Calvin,... John Wesley,... and we see the lutherans who came. They said:"We also believe in Luther, thy holy servant!"But Luther cried: "Me!! I never knew you!! Where did you see me? In Luke 23:7 and 11: Pilate having learned that he was of Herod's jurisdiction, remitted him to Herod. What will happen at the judgment of the white throne? First the Pharisees came and instead of Moses, they saw Jesus. They took fright and said: "We are disciples of Moses!" You see? That's what they said to Jesus in Jn.9: 28. And Jesus said: "In this case, take them to Moses". You see? Moses asked them: "Were you in the desert? When Korah and Dathan revolted, were you on my side? Do you know Aaron and Miriam?" They said: "No!". Moses was astonished and said: "You were then with me in Egypt but only you did not get out?" They said: "No. We've lived on the earth around the year 30, the year 40 by then! But we were faithful to you, we are your disciples!" Moses said: "The year 30, there it is Jesus! But!! Why do you say you're of me ... had not I told you that the Lord your God would arouse to you a servant you like me?" Go therefore Jesus! They said: "Forgive us, Moses, do not do that to us!" We defended you on earth, we beseech you therefore to accept us by you! [Ed: The congregation says, Amen!]. You see? When they had heard the name of Jesus, their heart was cut! A cold blood ran through them. They remembered that Jesus had told them in John 5:45: "Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is [one] who accuses you, Moses, on whom ye trust". [Ed: The congregation says, Amen!]. We know that the Word of God is a judgment for the sons of the devil and when they say: "We're of Moses!", calling in someone who is already dead, it is to say that they have lost the first trial, the trial of the living. We are of such and such who are already dead! You see? When the pharisees asked for appearing before Moses, the hearing was accepted but Jesus told them that Moses would condemn them. So to simplify everything, God has planned the judgment of the white throne which is the type of the Jewish Sanhedrin, the type of our Supreme Court here, the Court of Cassation I think. You see? To not accept Jesus, they registered on the list of the disciples of Moses. They said in Jean.9:28: "... We are disciples of Moses." How can you be followers of him whom you do not know and who has not even lived in the same generation as you? Yet after Moses, Baruch was a disciple of Jeremiah and Elisha was a disciple of Elijah. You see? And within more than a thousand years later, they set themselves up as disciples of Moses to not accept Jesus Christ, the light of their time. And today, the great-grand-sons of these pharisees, who the hell awaits, have extended and continue to extend the list of the apostles and disciples of Jesus. Today, in the year 2005, they are apostles and disciples of the Nazarene who was walking in the streets of Jerusalem and who had twelve apostles and seventy disciples all in all. You see? But the devil can only seduce the one who is born to be seduced. Because the Bible says that if that was possible, the elect would be seduced but it is not possible! God is good and in His goodness, he will permit that one day the scales of blindness fall from our eyes [Ed: The congregation says "Amen!"]. They ask for appearing before the white throne but as for those who believed the Message of their time, they will not come at the judgment at all, they have already been judged through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Moses will be the President of the Court of Appeal of all those who were there in the desert of Sinai also like William Branham will be for those who lived while he was the light of the world according to John 9:5. And the messenger of Matth.25: 6 will be it for this generation.
Then the evangelical churches, cousins of the pharisees came and said to Him who is sitting on the throne "We are of Jesus, we believed nothing except in Jesus!" But the Lord will tell them: "Were you in Israel when I was on earth? When I was on earth, I even told my followers not to go towards the people of nations because my ministry was among my Jewish brothers, how then you, men of nations, do you say: We are of Jesus, we were your followers on earth? ... Had I not promised seven stars who are seven angels to whom you should listen to be saved, why did you not listened to them? Depart from me, workers of lawlessness!"you see? Jesus said: "Have I not said in John 9:5 that:" AS LONG AS I am in the world, I am [the] light of the world" and that thus John was the light of the world just before me [Jn.5:35] and when I will no longer be on the earth others will be light of the world to enlighten you after the example of Paul? "You See? They will have the mouth closed!
And the pope of... the president of the church of pentecost will approach saying: "Lord, I am the apostle Yao Bio, I have worked many miracles in thy name" The Lord will tell him: "for which one of my messengers were you apostle?" He will say: "Lord, as a precaution, I believed in nobody but you, it’s of your Gospel that I was apostle." The Lord will tell him: "My apostles were twelve in number, you are which one?" And when Wesley was on stage, was it not me? And when William Branham was on stage, was it not me? And when Matth.25:6 was being fulfilled, was it not me? Why did you not believe in them? In the same way that I sent Elijah, Jeremiah, Habakkuk, Haggai, Hosea, Zechariah, Amos, Zephaniah, Isaiah,... to the Jews, so, to you as well, I have sent these ones according to the promise of Matth.23:34 and you rejected them! You see? Someone rises, builds a religious organisation calling that: church and proclaims himself apostle, pastor, doctor, evangelist or disciple ... not of the prophet messenger of his time but of Jesus the Nazarene who he did not know and some people follow him like animals. You see? Yet it is an old pagan practice. I cite only two examples: I am going to read something that ... [Br. Philip looks for the page] ... excuse me ... ok! There it is! It is Daniel-Rops, History of the Church of the apostles, page ... page 157, I read: "And when the emperor Constantine feel approaching his end, he will make a basilica built in honour of the holy apostles with twelve sarcophagi of porphyry commemorating their memory and a thirteenth being reserved for him". And you know the most illustrious basilica in the world is found in Ivory Coast with a thirteenth image, that of Houphouet Boigny, representing a thirteenth apostle of Jesus. You see? As Constantine and Houphouet, you are free to extend the list of disciples and apostles of Jesus as your fathers also made themselves disciples of Moses instead of accepting Jesus of Nazareth, the light of their time. If God saves one of you or saves one of those who follow you, He must apologize to the pharisees and save them all including Judas! But we know that God never sends a church on earth but a Message and those who get forth from organizations to gather around that Message it is them who form the Church. But first a Message, something new that the world does not know and that comes as the Light of the world. You see? With Moses, He brought the law, and each prophet ... not a synagogue but a Message contained in a book. You'll never see the church or synagogue as such prophet but a Message ...
You see, "Wesley will say to the lutherans who refused his Message: "Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is [one] who accuses you, Luther on whom ye trust." [Ed: The congregation says, Amen!]. William Branham could say to methodists:" Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is [one] who accuses you, Wesley on whom ye trust." [The congregation says, Amen!]. And I can say to the branhamists: " Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is [one] who accuses you, Branham on whom ye trust." [Ed: The congregation says, Amen!]. You see? At the judgment, the branhamists who heard the midnight Cry and rejected came and it was similar. It is prophetic! If you have lived in 2002, you are under the jurisdiction of Matth.25: 6. Whether you are catholic, protestant, evangelical or branhamist, know that if it is God who gave me this Message ... Like Isaiah and Jeremiah, the one who condemned you on earth from 2002 will be your judge before God. The pharisees dragged on long scrolls towards the bar and said: "We're of Moses ... they would say today: We are of Jesus! Which confirmation permitted to admit Jeremiah, Isaiah, Haggai, Hosea, Joel, Daniel, Zephaniah, Habakkuk ... Luther, Wesley, and others? You were waiting for the confirmation while some baptist, methodist, catholic, pentecostal prostitutes were getting in??? Have I signed a pact of confirmation with you??? Does the Bible say that I was obliged to do that??? Depart from me and go into the fire which has been prepared for you before the foundation of the world!!!". [Ed: The congregation says: Amen!]. And it is William Branham himself who condemned them before God according to John 5:45! When you rejected the message of your time, it is over for you!!! And your fasts and prayers are abominations! Your zeal, your fruits of Galatians 5:22 are abominations and above all, your Jesus is Satan. [Ed: The congregation says: Amen!].
And when a prophet messenger is preaching, any pastor, doctor, prophet, evangelist or apostle who does not bring his Message from the devil. You are required to echo his Message otherwise it is the devil that you serve. When Noah was preaching, you could not serve God but by leading people to believe in the Message of Noah. When Jeremiah was preaching, you could not serve God in your synagogues but by leading people to believe what Jeremiah was saying. When Jesus was preaching, you could not serve God but by leading people to follow the Message of Jesus. When Amos was preaching, God could not recognize the priesthood of Amaziah unless if he recognized Amos because the Bible says in John 6:28 that ... let us read that: " They said therefore to him, What should we do that we may work the works of God? Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he has sent". You see? You cannot serve God unless you believe in him whom He has sent. He that hath ears to hear let him hear!
